The crew of the Angelique is proud of what they are: pirates. Their day to day schedule entails sailing the seas of Marabilia between adventures, attacking ships, and searching for treasures; in short, the pirates of the Angelique live without complying with the law nor obeying orders from anyone.
Until king Geraint de Dahes captures them and everything points to an end of their old way of life. The penalty for piracy is death. At least, of course, unless someone proposes a deal that would let them save themselves… One which at the same time offers the possibility of a revenge they’ve been thirsting for.
For a treasure as precious as freedom, any price seems small.
