Laia Soler was born in Lleida in 1991. She published her first novel at the age of twenty-one thanks to the Prize La Caixa / Plataforma. She moved to Barcelona, where she still lives, to study journalism, but decided to change press for literature; she specialised in literature, taking a master’s degree in Literary Creation and another one in Publishing, and has been working in the publishing sector for more than ten years.
She has published more than fifteen books (picture books, children’s, juvenile’s and YA books) and writes regularly for the educational platform Fiction Express.
She is co-founder of the publishing services company Meikabuk and runs a podcast under the same name with the writer Alena Pons.
