Inspired by a real rural tradition and enriched with a prologue connecting the narrative to Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes.
In a small village in La Mancha, Alonso Quijano and his beloved hen Clotilde live next to a windmill, where tradition and livelihood depend on her eggs. When Clotilde escapes, Alonso must chase her to save the family business: Madalenas Quijano. Along the way he meets Dulce, a city girl who sees the hen not as livestock but as a pet. Their encounter becomes a story about friendship and different perspectives, where past, present, and future coexist.
