Carla Novillo is a graduate in Fine Arts, specializing in Visual Arts, from the Complutense University of Madrid, where she resides. In recent years, she has added illustration for children’s books to her work as a graphic and multimedia designer for communication agencies. She has been awarded the APIM prize in the Children’s and Young Adult Publishing category, and her work has been recognized in the White Ravens list, the Fundación Cuatrogatos selection and the IBBY Spain honour list. She is the co-author, with Germán S. Miller, of The Flying Herring (Pastel de Luna).
