Ruth Rahlff, born in Lüneburg, tried her hand at selling books in her uncle’s bookshop at a young age, later trained as a publisher’s bookseller, worked as an editor in a very large and in a very small publishing house and has been a freelance author since 2004. When she is not reading, travelling, eating ice cream or romping with her dog, she invents stories for children and young people.
