Patrick Hofmann, born in 1971, studied philosophy, German and history in Berlin, Leipzig, Moscow and Strasbourg and wrote his PhD thesis on the philosopher Edmund Husserl. For his highly acclaimed debut, “The Last Sow”, he was awarded the Robert Walser Prize in 2010.
“Nail in the Sky” is his second novel.
