Antonia Huertas was born in Jaén and has been living in Barcelona ever since her family moved there at the age of two.
She graduated in Mathematics and Humanities and holds a Doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Barcelona.
She is currently professor in the department of Computing at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and has been a visiting researcher in the field of logics and computing at the Universities of Amsterdam, Standford, Copenhagen, Nancy and Aveiro, working in the research areas of Logics applied to Artificial Intelligence and e-Learning.
