Ana Iris Simón (Campo de Criptana, 1991) studied in public schools in Aranjuez. She studied Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at Rey Juan Carlos University in Fuenlabrada while folding and tagging T-shirts at Desigual and working as a guide in the Telefónica building on Gran Vía. Her first job was at Telva magazine, and later she was a writer at Vice and a scriptwriter for RTVE’s Playz.
She currently collaborates with various media outlets. She recently moved from Madrid, where she had lived since 2014, to a provincial city, partly because she envies the life her parents had at her age, although she hasn’t bought a Thermomix or taken out a mortgage. Feria is her first book.
