África Vázquez Beltrán (Zaragoza, 1990) published her first novel at the age of seventeen as she won the Jordi Sierra i Fabra Prize. She has now published more than thirty books between Spain and Mexico and has won several literary prizes, including the Kelvin 505 Prize by the Celsius 232 festival. Although she has a degree in History from the University of Zaragoza and has worked as a librarian, she now devotes herself exclusively to writing from her favourite spot: the amazing mountains of Algairén in Aragón.
