The Curse of the Flying Dutchman

On board of a phantom ship, even cursed pirates can fall in love

Every seven years, the ghostly Flying Dutchman docks on the northern coast of Spain, and its cursed captain, van der Decken, claims a young woman who is never seen again.

When her sister is chosen, young fisherwoman Ana bravely intervenes—and becomes the ship’s captive herself. Aboard the phantom warship, she faces a crew condemned to relive their bloodiest battles, and a captain who is a twisted King Midas whose touch brings only decay.

From the storm-swept shores of northern Spain, to the crumbling ruins of a castle on the Isle of Man, to the shimmering Caribbean waters, Ana and van der Decken will chart a dangerous course toward redemption. And when the Flying Dutchman brings her back to shore, the choice will be hers alone: to break the curse—or let the curse last forever.

I loved him and lost him. No, I didn’t lose him. The ocean took him away from me.
