Verena Carl is a journalist for psychology and social issues, author of numerous novels and non-fiction books, and mother of a teenager who has defined herself as genderfluid and bi for many years. She has twice been awarded the Hamburg Prize for Literature for her literary work.
Verena Carl lives in Hamburg with her two children and her husband.
