Come on!

Startled and sweating, Samuel wakes up from a nightmare. He looks around and sits up, still trembling, but he cannot escape the look he instantly feels upon him. It’s there. That dog. The dog he never wanted but is now stuck with him. The dog he didn’t want but now has to take care of. The dog that reminds him of everything. Her dog. Her stupid dog. On top of that, there’s an endless workload, a dissatisfied client, unbearable stomach pain, neglected friendships, and pissed-off neighbors. And one broken heart.

Leading Slovak comics artist Dávid Marcin has illustrated and told an autofictional story about a friendship that doesn’t need many words. A paw is enough. And a wellthrown ball.

A moving portrayal of the bond between a man and the dog that changes his life.
