Life is very good in the beautiful kingdom of Marymonte: it’s peaceful, there’s good food and nearly everybody gets to do what they like best.
But one fine day King Nicholas loses his wits and begins to rule by rhyming couplets. So Marcel has to ring the bell; Ina has to be miner, and Lana has to be a farmer, and so forth.
And that is not all. The rhyming couplet king also bans poems and songs throughout the entire country! But the people of Marymonte are not willing to stop their wordplay, particularly not the daring Twelvefingers and his inseparable Marionetti.
Will they be cunning enough to beat the Rhyming-Couplet King and his entire army?
The book is illustrated by Eloi Sala i Vila, the author’s brother.
