The Man with Chocolate Hands

Ilustrated by Lluís Farré

Tomeu and Enric are very good friends. Enric always suggested doing things together with Tomeu: when they were little, playing in the town square; going to dances when they were teenagers; as adults spending family holidays together…But Enric always preferred making chocolates: at any time.

“Giving time is giving life. That’s why it’s the most valuable present, because people who give time are giving themselves. The opposite of giving time is, clearly, not giving it. That said, a person who doesn’t give time isn’t someone who has lots of time but keeps it jealously guarded, it is someone who simply doesn’t have time. In this sense, life cannot be measured and, paradoxically, the more life we give, the more life we have”.   Josep Maria Esquirol
