One day a message from Uncle Daniel from the North Pole arrives at Rita’s house. It’s an invitation for Rita and her father to spend a few days with him. When they get there they will find that Uncle Daniel is on a ship trapped in ice. Then begins an exciting adventure to rescue the entire crew.
On this adventure, Rita will also learn about the customs of the Inuit people and see first-hand some of the consequences of global warming.
By the way, does anyone know what a penguin does at the North Pole? It was all Rita’s father’s idea, he is a bit clueless…
