How Lucky I Am!

A young boy is jealous of his friend Carlos, who has an iguana.
He’s always wanted a pet of his own. He’s jealous of his brother, too, who has a guide dog.

There are lots of other things he’s jealous about his brother, too: like when their parents turn off the
lights at night, he can’t find out what happens next in his book, but his brother is able to keep reading in braille.

Carlos may have an iguana, but he’s an only child; the narrator realizes how lucky he is, to have both a good friend and a wonderful brother!
