With humour, action and poetry, Capitan Capibara is a story of friendship, courage and growth, a heartfelt environmental adventure destined to become a classic for young readers
Orlando is a lively capybara cub who is beginning to feel restricted by the sedentary lifestyle of his lazy rodent community.
He has always been passionate about fantastic stories and dreams of living the adventures of his favourite superhero: Captain Capybara, a brave rodent who defends the weak and fights injustice, wearing a mask, a cape and a ridiculous pair of underpants. For this reason, he is constantly teased by the other capybaras, to the point that he becomes a cause for concern for his parents, who are focused only on what is happening in the community, without the slightest attention to what is happening around them: the water of the great river is decreasing day by day, leaving only mud and debris. Orlando rebels and chooses to leave to find out what is happening.
Orlando, Emilio and his crew will discover that what were considered weaknesses and fragility are, in fact, their strengths that will lead them to save the forest from overdevelopment and become the heroes of the entire community.
