I don’t miss anyone. And I don’t need anyone either.
Twenty-nine-year-old Akiko is single and lives in self-imposed loneliness in Tokyo.
One evening, she meets Kento again by chance, her first love from school. Kento leads a reclusive life as a hikikomori who only dares to go out on the street at night.
At the same time, Akiko discovers a life lie in her mother’s estate that calls all her certainties into question. She has to admit to herself that she doesn’t know who she is. With Kento’s help, Akiko embarks on a journey into her own history, which takes her life in unexpected directions and leads her to questions she has never dared to ask herself before: How do I want to live? And do I have the courage to love someone?
