“The Island of Peacocks” is the name of Bastei Lübbe’s new imprint dedicated to upmarket fiction and non-fiction.
The imprint is headed by the experienced editor Constanze Neumann, who runs it from Berlin alongside major names in German literature such as Florian Illies, Julia Franck, and Jean-Luc Bannalec, as well as emerging voices including Ruth Olshan, Jennifer Segebrecht, and others who are set to establish themselves under this imprint.
