Il Castoro, the leading independent children’s books publisher in Italy, proudly announces its ground-breaking venture, IL CASTORO OFF, an imprint aimed to adult readers. IL CASTORO OFF’s mission is to discover fresh editorial proposals, untapped voices, and modern genres. The objective is to uncover the contemporary fiction’s hidden gems, unrestricted by genre, using an open-minded and curious approach.
IL CASTORO OFF will be launched in late January 2024 and will showcase a mix of top quality genre fiction titles – Romance, Fantasy, Romantasy, Thriller, Horror, Science Fiction. Their aim is to target New Adults readers, aged 16 and above. They will be publishing around ten titles annually under Il CASTORO OFF, both acquired and originated. The project is led by Il Castoro’s editor, Giusy Scarfone, and supported by a dedicated team of young collaborators.
