Sofía Brotóns (Alicante, 1992) is a philosopher, journalist, and holds a PhD in Social Sciences. Her doctoral research, international in scope and with European impact, explored narratives of reflexivity in collaboration with the University of Otago (New Zealand).
She worked for five years as a researcher at the Institute for Culture and Society, specializing in psycholinguistics and public discourse. She has also developed her professional career in media and the business sector.
A native of Alicante, now living in Madrid and the mother of three daughters, she currently writes about life, art, and thought. In 2018, she published her first novel, *My Life After Your Death* (2nd ed.). *Matrix* is her second novel, in which she intertwines the intimate and the collective to give voice to the experience of the female body.
