She holds a PhD in Social Psychology from The New School for Social Research in New York and is a certified instructor in Compassion Cultivation Training from Stanford University’s CCARE (California). She directs the end-of-life support program at Nirakara (Madrid), which focuses on training professionals in palliative care. She shares everything she knows about death in her fantastic book, The Afterlife.
