Olivia Corio is a teacher, journalist, and author. Passionate about music, she lived in England for many years where she took her first steps in the working world as a writer for MTV. She has written various articles for Mondadori magazines and today teaches Semiotics and Communication Theory at the Istituto Europeo di Design. She has always loved reading and writing. She published her first novel, Colpiscimi, Alet Edizioni, in 2011. Two short stories followed: Il guscio vuoto, in the anthology La vita sobria, Neo Edizioni, 2014, and a monologue dedicated to Ella Fitzgerald, in the all female anthology Mappe sulla pelle, EdiPress, 2012.
