Mithu M. Sanyal is an award winning broadcaster, academic and author. Her first book, “Vulva – a cultural history of the female genitalia” (Berlin, 2009) has been translated into five languages: Danish (Tiderne Skifter), Spanish (Anagrama), Italian (Marco Tropea), Swedish (Epix Bokförlag), and Hungarian (Bookart).
Her first novel “Identitti”, which was shortlisted for the German Book Prize and was awarded the Ruhr Literature Prize and the Ernst Bloch Prize in 2021.
