Marina Garcés

Marina Garcés (Barcelona, ​​1973) is a Spanish philosopher, essayist, and public intellectual active in contemporary thought. After 15 years as a philosophy professor at the University of Zaragoza, she now teaches at the Open University of Catalonia, where she directs the Master’s in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges and leads a research group. She is the author of numerous books, translated into eight languages. Her work, which combines critical thinking with social commitment, has won prestigious awards including the Ciutat de Barcelona Essay Prize, and she is a leading voice in philosophical debates on agency, the common, and collective life.
