Marina Boos was born in in Baden-Württemberg in 1981. She now lives very rurally with her family
on the Swiss Elfringehauser border.
Following her university studies she spent several years working for public libraries, looking after the science section, technical problems, students and an enormous shelf full of cookery and craft books. She not only spins and weaves words into stories, but also wool into scarves and blankets.
