Kim Bo-young

Kim Bo-young (1975) is one of Korea’s most important science fiction authors. Praised by directors such as Bong Joon-Ho (Oscar winner for Parasite), she was a writing consultant for the film Snowpiercer. She has won the South Korean Science Fiction Literature Award three times and was selected for the National Book Award in 2021 for her collection of short stories, The Origin of Species.
