Jessica Amankona, born in 1987, grew up with her mother and four sisters in a household of women, and studied Spanish and French philology at Münster University. Alongside writing books, she also has an increasingly popular book blog on Instagram, and when she isn’t busy creating fictional worlds she loves dreaming of faraway times and countries. Her debut novel, The Murano Legacy, is the result of meticulous research, including walking in the footsteps of the Murano glassblowers in the alleyways of Venice.
