Gonzalo Sánchez Arias was born in Grado (Asturias) in 1990. Although he remembers creating and writing stories from a very young age, he studied Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Web Engineering at the University of Oviedo, which is why he considers himself hopelessly out of place in the science world.
He currently works as a Computer Science teacher in secondary schools and vocational training, but he never neglects writing, his great passion, and continues to imagine stories that take place somewhere near the sea.
As a result of this passion, in September 2021 he was one of the winning authors in the ‘Amar (o como se llame)’ competition organised by SM Publishing, and his story ‘De los sueños y el mar’ was published in the anthology under the same name.
