Frauke Scheunemann was born in Düsseldorf in 1969. She studied Law, did an internship at the NDR and afterwards worked as a journalist.
Since 2002 she writes and her books, both for children and adults are bestsellers.
Nowadays she lives in Hamburg with her husband and 4 children.
