Bianca Jankovska (@groschenphilosophin) knew at the age of 13 that she wanted to write – and she stuck to it. Her texts combine essayistic reflection and literary staging, leading readers into intimate spaces of family, relationships, sexuality and trauma.
After studying journalism and political science, she had a short career as a journalist in various media and forms of employment. In 2018, she published her first book, “Das Millennial-Manifest” (The Millennial Manifesto), followed in 2020 by Dear Girlboss, we are done. In 2024, “Potenziell furchtbare Tage” (Potentially Terrible Days) was published by Haymon Verlag.
Today, Jankovska still prefers to talk about feminist life and pop culture on her substack (fuckgirl.substack.com) and on her YouTube channel ‘Groschenphilosophin’. ‘Fuckgirl’ is Bianca Jankovska’s debut novel.
