Agustín Díaz

Agustín was born in Washington, D.C., a city he left before turning two. In Buenos Aires, his grandmother Nelly would keep him entertained by telling him stories while she kneaded gnocchi in the kitchen, the little boy perched on the counter. That’s probably where it all began. He didn’t take long to grow up into a voracious—and very nearsighted—reader.

He studied film in Buenos Aires, lived in Lima for ten years, and settled in Barcelona in 2017, after completing a Master’s in Literary Creation at Pompeu Fabra University. Someone once called him a literary switch—he reads, edits, and writes. He makes a living as a copywriter and as a freelance reader and editor.

He lives with a slightly insolent rabbit he named Gennaro.
