Vera Gereke

Vera Gereke grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany. She completed her bachelor’s degree in communication design at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel. She then moved to her current home of Hamburg, where she completed a master’s degree in illustration at HAW Hamburg. Her work is characterized above all by wit, charm, and meticulous technique. Inspired by comics, city life, and roller derby, she creates illustrations that have been recognized by dPICTUS and exhibited in Bologna, among other places.
