Torben Kuhlmann lives and works as a freelance children’s book author and illustrator in Hamburg.
There he studied illustration and communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. He completed his studies in 2012 with his first mouse adventure «Lindbergh».
The book was published soon after by NordSüd Verlag and became an international bestseller in no time. The volumes «Armstrong», «Edison» and «Einstein» followed. The mouse adventures have now been translated into over 30 languages and have a huge fan base worldwide.
