Peter Keglevic, born in 1950 in Salzburg, is an Austrian living in Berlin.
He is a bookseller by trade and, most notably, a successful film director. Several of his films feature actor Christoph Waltz. He has won many awards, including the Grimme-Preis, one of the most prestigious awards for German television, and the German Television Award.
Twenty years of research went into his story about Harry Freudenthal and the “people’s run”. I was Hitler’s best man is his first novel.
