PhD, is the the award-winning author of «Waiting for the Biblioburro» (Esperando el Biblioburro), «Marisol McDonald doesn’t match«, and the Lola Levine chapter-book series.
Monica‘s books are inspired by her Peruvian-American heritage and desire to share Latino/a stories with children.
She lives in Arizona with her family and teaches English at Northern Arizona University.
