Michel Birbæk was born in Copenhagen but has been living in Cologne for many years. He sang in rock bands for a number of years, after which he was, among other things, a columnist for various women’s magazines and has been a scriptwriter for some of the most successful series on German television. The five novels he has hitherto written have conquered the hearts of both critics and a wide fan base alike.
