Michael Horeni, born in 1965, is the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’s sports correspondent, and is the author of, among others, «Klinsmann» (2005), «Die Brüder Boateng» («The Boateng Brothers», 2012), and, together with Hans-Joachim Watzke, the bestseller «Wahre Liebe» («True Love», 2019).
Horeni has spent more than twenty years as correspondent-in-chief on matters regarding the German national football team, and has reported on 15 World Cups and Euros.
He is the winner of the German Fair Play Award.
