Laura Orvieto (Milan, 1876 – 1953) was a Jewish Italian writer. She loved reading and creating stories for children. She worked at the magazine Il Marzocco, founded by her husband Angiolo Orvieto.
She is the author of the extraordinary successful long-seller Stories of World History, who lit up the Italian and European cultural and pedagogical scene for over a century.
