Florian Kinast, born in Munich in 1969, is an author and freelance sports journalist. As a correspondent for Der Spiegel, he reports on FC Bayern Munich and also writes reports and portraits for the Münchner Abendzeitung, Sports Illustrated and many other media.
He has published several books, including a biography of biathlete Magdalena Neuner. In 2022, «Die Könige der Welt» was published about the history of the football World Cup.
