Eva Viežnaviec was born near Minsk in 1972 and has worked as an author and journalist since 1994.
«What Is It You Seek, Wolf?» was awarded the highest prize for prose in Belarus in 2021. Substantial parts of the novel were written during her stay as a Lion Feuchtwanger fellow at Villa Aurore in Los Angeles.
