Emilio Urberuaga (Madrid 1954) began his work as an illustrator in the early 1980s and since then has published over onehundred titles, both as illustrator and, on many occasions, also as the author of the texts. He also collaborates with newspapers, magazines, textbooks and advertising. His work is exhibited in art centers, and he is the only Spanish illustrator with work in the Chihiro Art Museum in Tokyo. Among his many awards is the Spanish National Illustration Award 2011.
