Originally, Wallstein Verlag was founded as a desktop publishing company. While we still offer our services to other publishers, Wallstein Verlag has grown into a publisher of literature itself. Wallstein Verlag publishes between 60 and 70 titles a year, ranging from contemporary literature to history and cultural studies.
Wallstein Verlag program’s emphasis is on eighteenth-century literature and literary studies. Another focus are books on the holocaust; here contents range from personal accounts, historical analyses to catalogues for exhibitions.
