Martina Clavadetscher, born in 1979, is a writer and playwright. After studying German literature, linguistics and philosophy, she worked for various German-language theatres, was nominated for the Heidelberg Play Market and invited to the Berlin Author Theatre Days 2020.
She was awarded the Swiss Book Prize in 2021 for her novel ‘Die Erfindung des Ungehorsams’ (The Invention of Disobedience).
She lives in Switzerland.
