Hans-Jürgen Jakobs, born in 1956, is an economist and one of Germany’s most renowned economic journalists.
He has worked for the Spiegel and been in charge of the online edition of the Süddeutsche Zeitung city desk. Since 2013 he has been active in various functions for the Handelsblatt publishing group and was the Handelsblatt chief editor until 2015.
Apart from Hans-Jürgen Jakobs, the team authoring this book consists of some 30 correspondents of Germany’s most important financial newspaper, the Handelsblatt, and the staff of the Handelsblatt Research Institute under Professor Bernd Rürup.
