Silvia Vecchini writes picture books, novels, poetry and comics for children. She runs workshops for schools, libraries and bookshops and also holds creative writing classes.
Silvia and Antonio Sualzo co-wrote Fiato Sospeso (Tunué), which won the Boscarato Award in 2012 and Orbil Award in 2013, and the Gaetano e Zolletta series (Bao Publishing).
She has also written together with Antonio Sualzo the middle grade graphic novel La zona rossa (Il Castoro, 2017).
