Julia Schoch

Julia Schoch, born in 1974, works as a freelance author and translator of French in Potsdam. She received countless awards for both her writing and her translation. Her novel ‘Mit der Geschwindigkeit des Sommers’ (‘With the Speed of the Summer’) was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize. Her ‘Schöne Seelen und Komplizen’ (‘Beautiful Souls and Accomplices’) was recently published by Piper. She is set to receive the 2022 German Schiller Foundation Award.
