Daniele Mocci (San Gavino Monreale, 1970) is a screenwriter, book author and copywriter. Since 1998 he has been teaching creative writing courses in schools.
Together with the illustrator Luca Usai he has created numerous humorous strips for school texts and university diaries (Esselibri). Also with Usai he gave life to the strip Lo stranero senza nome (Fumo di China) and the comic series Super Pro (Gaghi Editrice).
He wrote the comic book The Princess Who Loved Horror Movies and Other Princess Stories (Tunué), nominated for the Gran Guinigi Award (Lucca Comics & Games) for best short stories and Boscarato (Treviso Comics) for best screenplay.
Back in 2019 he published the novel The Last Day of Spring (Condaghes) and in Spring 2021, together with Luca Usai, will publish the middle-grade series Coda di Castoro (Mondadori).
