Bregje Hofstede is a writer and activist. Her previous novel Drift was shortlisted for the Libris Literature Prize. She is a co-founder of the feminist platform De Bovengrondse and the National Witch Monument Foundation, and a member of Extinction Rebellion. She writes about new prophets for De Correspondent.
