Bettina Storks has a PhD in literature. She worked as an editor for many years before publishing her first book. She combines her passion for family secrets and her love for France in her multi-layered novels. «The Sisters of Kraków» is the first time that she has written about German-Polish history – a history that plays a significant part in her own family.
